Reya Roshan

Reya Roshan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with a minor in Law, Science, and Technology at Georgia Tech. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of public policy, law, health, and urban development. Her experience includes research on housing quality and regional energy policy through the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance, healthcare policy through Georgia Tech’s Vertically Integrated Project, and medical marijuana and hemp regulation in Georgia, with guidance from the House Budget and Research Office. At Georgia Tech, she has also held leadership positions as Vice President of Finance for the Women’s Recruitment Team and Captain of Pulse, the university’s competitive Indian classical dance team.

Reya is passionate about understanding how public institutions and policy decisions shape communities, particularly in the areas of housing, healthcare, and social equity. As a fellow, she is excited to further develop her research skills, contribute to the Center’s work on urban policy, and explore how data-driven research can inform more equitable and effective policy outcomes in Atlanta.
