Overview
Dani Nicholas is a Master of Science in Public Policy (MSPP) student from Sandy Springs, GA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Public Policy at Georgia Tech with a minor in Computational Data Analysis in May 2025. Her experience includes internships with the Georgia House of Representatives Ways and Means committee, the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, Impact Public Affairs, Guidehouse state and local government consulting, and Mini City ATL. At Georgia Tech, she’s been involved with the 3484 news magazine, the EXCEL mentorship program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and Greek Life. She has previously done academic research with the Health Policy Lab and now works with the Housing and Urban Policy (HUP) lab through the Center.
Dani is passionate about social and urban policy topics, such as affordable housing, transportation, and health, as well as the intersections between these issues. Dani believes that the Center and its partners’ neighborhood-based approach is essential to tackling inequities in urban areas. As a fellow, she is excited to be an active participant in the Center’s growing efforts to foster collaboration between policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in Atlanta.
